White Wolf Games

White Wolf Games — maker of Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Mage: The Ascension, Changeling: The Dreaming, and Wraith: The Oblivion. Characters from all these genre can be found online, and they're fun games in their own right. By the way, since we use a few names from White Wolf on this homepage and within the MUCK, we're obligated to include this text and link:

All White Wolf games and terms are 1999 White Wolf Publishing Inc. All Rights Reserved.

Steve Jackson Games — maker of GURPS and many other great role-playing games. GURPS is one of the best games out there when it comes to sheer versatility of the mechanics. A few characters have been based on GURPS and it's a good system to know too.

TSR, Inc. — Makers of Dungeons and Dragons, an old classic in the realm of role-playing games. A few characters have come through based on this system. Note: It's now owned by Wizards of the Coast, maker of the dreaded Magic: The Gathering game. Incidentally, if Magic: the Gathering is your idea of a serious RPG, I hate you and everything you stand for. That having been said, D&D isn't bad, most of us old-time gamers cut our teeth on D&D, and so it's worth peeking at.

FurryMUCK — It's the main MUCK of them all. Granted, Twilight's fallen pretty far from that tree, but they are the home base of the software of our MUCK, and if you just ignore all the stuff about "furry", you can get good information about the basics of using a MUCK, a lot of how-tos and such. There are also a couple links that point you to MUCK clients and other useful utilities.
